Lynnderella — Nosegay

Good Friday everyone!

I have a late post for you today, mostly because I've been stuffing myself with crawfish today. Lol.

Nom nom nom, so tasty! :DD

So today I have the first Lynnderella polish for the blog. It's called Nosegay.

Nosegay is a sheer shimmery violet base with purple and lavender microglitter and square glitter. I think there's some hex glitter in there too but I didn't get but one piece on my nail.  I layered this over Elixir Lacquers Bad Kitty, which I'll be showing you guys soon!

This is 2 coats of Nosegay over 3 coats of Bad Kitty.

Hope you guys like!

Have a wonderful Easter/Passover (just) weekend!

Until next time.

The Hungry Asian — Sneeze Breeze

I'm feeling lazy today so I won't go into too much detail with this post. Lol.

Sneeze Breeze is the second polish I received in my trio from The Hungry Asian. This is a clear base with fine matte blue and black glitter.

The below photos are 2 coats of Sneeze Breeze over 1 coat of China Glaze Shower Together.

No topcoat.

No topcoat.

2 coats of Gelous and 1 coat of Seche Vite.

This polish goes on great. It dries fast and covers well even without a base color to hide naked nail. It is VERY topcoat hungry though. Even though I did 2 coats of Gelous and 1 coat of Seche Vite, later on in the day / the next day the surface was a bit bumpy again. It wasn't anything seriously bad but there was texture when the day of it was smooth.

This is the mani I did right before we ate crawfish so it did not survive, unfortunately. I may have done it too fast and didn't let my base coat dry all the way because later the next day it started peeling near my cuticles. I'll definitely have to try wearing this one again in the future!

The Hungry Asian polishes can be purchased from her Etsy shop for $9.25-4.50 depending on size and how new it is.

Until next time~ :)

The Hungry Asian — Sea Creature

So I have something entirely new for you guys today! I have another awesome indie polish by the name of The Hungry Asian. I recently bought a mini trio from her Etsy store to try out. I had been stalking her shop for a while and really wanted to get Strawberry, but when I saw she had this trio set, I jumped on it and got 3 lovely little minis! :D

First up is Sea Creature.  This is 2 coats of Sea Creature over A England Saint George topped with Essie Matte About You topcoat.

Sea Creature has medium holographic bright blue hexagon glitter, small black glitter with fuchsia and green superfine glitter in a lightly blackened base. (description from Etsy)

The blue, green, and fuchsia reminds me of the Rainbow Fish. This is just an absolutely beautiful glitter polish.

You can purchase The Hungry Asian polishes on Etsy for $9.25-4.50 depending on size and how new the polish is.

Until next time~ :)

A England — Saint George

I finally have the last of my A England polishes for you today! I know it took forever. Lol.

Saint George is a beautiful teal holographic polish. Formula on this is like the others; it goes on smooth like buttah. Hehe.

In the shade.

Direct sunlight.

Even more direct sunlight.

This isn't one of the stronger holographic polishes from this collection, but my photos don't show nearly how holographic this is in real life. It's much more stunning in person.

The only issue I had with this polish is a bit of staining when I was doing clean up. It did bleed a bit into my cuticles but after I showered, the stain was gone.

You can purchase the Legends collection on A England's website, Llarowe, and Ninja Polish. Prices vary on all sites.

Until next time~ :)

Nerd Lacquer — Don't Blink

"Don't Blink. Blink and you're dead. Don't turn your back. Don't look away. And don't Blink. Good Luck."

Ooooh Doctor Who! And the perfect polish to go with this episode! Blink is one of my favorite episodes and I'm sure it is for several other people! Watch out, the Weeping Angels are out to get you. :P

Nerd Lacquer is an indie polish brand who brings all the wonders of time and space into some amazing nail polish.

Don't Blink is a "stone grey creme with silver and charcoal glitter, silver microglitter, and big silver hex glitter." It's a part of the OI, SPACEMAN Series.

I had to show you guys this polish today before all my queued posts because I was just too excited about it! Lol.

This is 2 coats of Don't Blink layered over 1 thin coat of China Glaze Pelican Grey. The formula on Don't Blink was great. I didn't have to dig around for glitter and it went on and dried smooth. I topped it off with a thin coat of Seche Vite and was good to go!

I had been dying to get my hands on this polish for a while now and I lucked out when Amanda opened her shop up several weeks ago. I got this one and a set of three from the Mad Man With A Box Series. Those others will be posted soon-ish! :)

You can purchase Nerd Lacquer polishes from Amanda's Etsy store, Harlow & Co, Ninja Polish, ThinkGeek and they retail for about $10 USD each for a full sized bottle. At least you can buy them when her store is open and when things are actually in stock. Lol.

Until next time~ :D

OPI Serena Glam Slam Duo — Love Is A Racket

Hello lovelies! I have the second polish from the Serena Glam Slam Duo today.

Love Is A Racket is a gorgeous pinky-red with pink and blue shimmer and golden glassfleck sprinkled throughout. In the shade this even looks like it has a bit of a purple duochrome but I'm not sure if it's just something that I noticed when swatching this because I've never heard anyone say it was duochrome.

This is 3 coats of LIAR (haha!) without topcoat. It is a bit sheer so 3 coats is necessary, but you could maybe get away with doing 2 thicker coats.

Direct Sunlight.

Do you see the duochrome in the shade?

See the bits of shimmer?

I also layered 1 coat of Pros & Bronze on top of Love Is A Racket since these are a duo and I'm assuming they are meant to be.

Honestly, I never would normally choose this kind of color since I'm not much of a pink or red fan but this is a really pretty color.

Not sure if you can still find this anywhere but I managed to pick this up on sale at my local Marshalls.

Until next time~ :)
